What a joyful occasion it was to celebrate Prathika's book 1 graduation recital yesterday. Friends and family showed up to support Prathika on this beautiful endeavor. She performed the pieces not only by memory but with a musicality that showed her understanding of the musical concepts and a heart that feels the music. She also explained each piece to the audience making it a delightful educational and artistic performance. The recital was followed by a wonderful dinner of Indian cuisine.
