About Me

I am a violinist and music instructor specializing in the Suzuki method. I believe that every student has the potential to learn and excel in music, and I am dedicated to bringing out the best in each of my students. With over 25 years of experience teaching violin, I have developed a teaching style that is tailored to each student's needs and learning style. My goal is to help my students develop the skills necessary to play the violin with ease, and a love and appreciation for music that will last a lifetime.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from St. Marcelina College in São Paulo, Brazil, and a Master's degrees in Arts Administration from London City University in the UK. I have also completed doctoral coursework in Music Education at the University of Maryland, College Park. Teaching Experience

Before starting my own studio, I taught at several public, private and music schools in Maryland, Virginia and Ohio. I am the founder and conductor of the Forsyth Youth Orchestra, the first youth community orchestra in Forsyth County.  I have been an adjudicator for All State competitions in Maryland and Georgia, led violin masterclasses in Brazil, and also served as orchestra conductor for the Atlanta Suzuki Institute.

Event Performance

I love to perform and I can be hired to play at your event. Be it a wedding , a birthday party, a corporate event, a memorial or just a surprise play-in for the person you love. I can play solo violin, and can also provide string duos, trios and quartets. Just let me know what you need and I can tailor the soundtrack for your memorable event!
