Studio Field Trip to Spivey Hall

On January 6 we had a Field Trip to the beautiful Spivey Hall in Morrow, GA. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra gave a wonderful chamber music performance of Mozart, Elgar and the well known Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" with David Coucheron, ASO's concert master, as the soloist. The acoustics of Spivey Hall were perfect for that kind of program. Our young violin students did a research project during the holidays on Vivaldi's piece and on Mr. Coucheron's career. They brought their research booklets and had them signed after the concert. It was a joyful and beautiful afternoon shared by all.
